VERS, meaning “fresh” in Dutch, reflects not only Executive Chef and Owner Jonathan Haffmans’ heritage, but also the restaurant's main principle to create dishes from scratch using fresh, local and organic ingredients whenever possible. At our core, we are a community-based, year-round business that supports and utilizes local and regional farmers and fishermen and their products. Our approach is to use modern techniques and innovation along with classic disciplines to provide the customer with a truly special product and memory in one of our three venues:

VERS Restaurant and Patisserie | At our Restaurant and Patisserie, in the lower level rear of the building, you will find our modern French patisserie, helmed by Executive Pastry Chef and Co-founder Stephen Jones, during the day and our refined dining experience by night.

VERS at the Orpheum | Housed within the renovated, historic Chatham Orpheum Theater, VERS at The Orpheum offers all-day dining for theater-goers.  Menu items are available to enjoy at our lobby bar or for take-in to the theater.
