VERS (\ˈvəәrs\), meaning “fresh” in Dutch, reflects not only Executive Chef and Owner Jonathan Haffmans’ heritage, but also the restaurant’s main principle to create dishes from scratch using fresh, local and organic ingredients whenever possible. At our core, we are a community-based, year round business that supports and utilizes local and regional farmers and their products. Our approach is to use modern techniques and innovation along with classic disciplines to provide the customer with a truly special product and memory.
VERS unites three concepts under one roof.
Housed within the recently renovated, historic Chatham Orpheum Theater, VERS at The Orpheum offers all-day dining, including late-night snacks and bites & beverages for theater-goers.
At VERS Restaurant and Patisserie, in the lower level rear of the building, you will find our modern French patisserie during the day and our refined dining experience by night. All outlets are serviced by a brand new, state-of-the-art 1100 square foot kitchen.
